韩国峰自上初中一年级(1984年起)开始至去年2013年6月29日为止，他在各地诸多突发事件和特殊情况下，舍己救人、舍生忘死，一次次的救起过几十起次人的生命，见义勇为是他本身最根本的特色和个性，更是一种习惯和风范，在此我们只说他几例典型的见义勇为事迹：

2012年6月30日许，两名循化的年轻小伙又被淹没在合什加水库，是两名联通公司的职员，最后还是韩国峰带着病痛的身体，又组织别人最终将两名小伙的尸体打捞出水；而后由于他在水中的作业时间较长，体力消耗透支，他就病倒了，后来并做了CT检查，身体迄今未见好转，为此家里任何农作物都没能种上，损失不小，尤其是身体，到目前还在治疗之中。
